Hello there!
My name is Sarah and here is my little corner of the online world showing you some photos that are dear to my heart. I am 29 years old, married to my best friend and we have two little beautiful kiddos. My absolute joy. I also, most importantly, love Jesus. I truly believe He guides me in every decision I make and I give all glory to Him that I am able to take these precious photos as a job! My husband and I absolutely love our large and continually growing families. We love being outside, snowboarding in the winter, getting out to go camping, trying new restaurants or breweries, and we have a never ending house project list going. We completely renovated our 1950’s rambler when we purchased about 6 years ago and continue to have projects that seem never ending (but doesn’t every home owner feel this way, renovating or not!?)
Photography has been a part of my life for what seems like forever. I had a fun little point and shoot and would document my neighbors and I playing on the playground when we were kids. I loved capturing moments that you could look back on and remember the feelings you had. As I grew up it felt like I took photos of everything. The simple mundane moments or taking my friends out in the city to have “photoshoots”. I did my first paid shoot when I was 16 and that felt like a new world opened to me. I went off to college, graduated in communications & advertising and came home looking for a job. That job hunt quickly ended and I cannonballed into photography full time instead. Thank you Jesus because it has been the best 10 years ever. So many stories captures, memories felt, love shared, and people that were just once clients who have become dear friends who I cherish!
That is a brief summary of my photography journey. The joy of it is that it’s always changing. Each season looks different and now that I am a mama of 2 and home with them during the week, photography looks a little different. My love and passion for capturing your memories is just the same in each season though. Thank you for being here, reading this, and supporting a dream I couldn’t have fathomed 15 years ago!
