hi there, i’m Sarah!

hi!! I am 25 years old and just loving being married to my best friend, Josh. I love Jesus and am trying to learn His heart and way of life more each day. He is my joy and confidence!!! My family is the most important thing to me. There are a total of 17 of us in my immediate family and Josh has a total of 23 now (with all nieces, nephews and in-laws). Our families combined including us is a whopping 39 people! So it is safe to say we love having big families and adore all of them! Josh and I love spending quality time with our family and friends and when we have free time we enjoy road tripping, camping, brewery hopping, rock climbing, snowboarding, and watching good movie series.

photography has been a part of my life for….. a long time. i had a fun little point and shoot and would document me and my neighbor playing on her playground when we were younger. i loved capturing moments that you could look back on and remember the feelings you had. as i grew up it felt like i took photos of everything… my friends, family, plants, animals, etc. and then i started senior photos and soon after i realized this could possibly be something greater than a hobby? i went to school, graduated in communications, & advertising and came home looking for a job in an advertising agency. that quickly did not work out how i thought it was supposed to and on the other side of this i kept receiving emails to take photos from couples and seniors. i thought…. what if this is what God wants me to try? i decided to go for it… to make this my full-time gig and put advertising to the side. and… guess what… this is a dream. it’s happening. starting my own business was scary for sure, lots of trust & prayer & hard work but seriously the greatest joy to be able to do this.

so here i am… taking each day as it comes and capturing memories, feelings, emotions, and love with my camera. i am so so thankful, honored, and just joyful to be able to stand beside my clients and friends and do this for you guys.

My hope is to capture memories, feelings, and emotions to be remembered forever. Feelings of love, hope, joy, and happiness to look back on in a photo album or a frame hanging on your wall. I want to walk besides you, encourage you, and capture all it is you want remembered. So excited to be trusted with this honor to work with each of you. It is a huge JOY! So… let’s chat and start taking some photos!!

Much love,

Sarah
