hi there, i’m Sarah!
Hello there!
My name is Sarah and here is my little corner of the online world showing you some photos that are dear to my heart. I am 29 years old, married to my best friend and we have two little beautiful kiddos. My absolute joy. I also, most importantly love Jesus. Because of Him I am able to sustain photography, motherhood, being a wife, friend, and daughter. I have many days where I fall short, very short, but Jesus carries me through and reminds me of how much good there is, always. Josh and I absolutely love our families (they are both large, 20+ nieces and nephews total). We love being outside, getting out to go camping with family, trying new restaurants when we can, and we have a never ending house project list going. We completely renovated our 1950’s rambler when we purchased about 4 years ago and continue to have projects that seem never ending (but doesn’t every home owner feel this way, renovating or not!?)
Photography has been a part of my life for….. a long time. I had a fun little point and shoot and would document my neighbors playing on the playground when we were kids. I loved capturing moments that you could look back on and remember the feelings you had. As I grew up it felt like I took photos of everything… my friends, family, plants, animals, etc. and then I started senior photos and soon after that I realized this could possibly be something greater than my favorite hobby ever! I went off to college, graduated in communications, & advertising and came home looking for a job in an advertising agency. That quickly did not pan out how I envisioned it and instead I decided to trust God fully and jump into photography, full time. Thank you Jesus because it has been the best 9 years ever. So many stories captures, memories felt, love shared, and people that were just once clients who have become dear friends who I cherish!
That is a brief summary of my photography journey. The joy of it is that it’s always changing. Each season looks different and now that I am a mama of 2 and home with them during the week, photography looks a little different but that doesn’t mean I don’t pour everything into my beloved clients that I get to capture. I hope that is you next. Thank you for being here, thank you for reading this and thank you for supporting a dream I couldn’t have fathomed 20 years ago!
